Karen Escobar, CEO and Founder of Golden Coast Marketing, doesn’t run your average marketing agency. She works with a limited number of clients each month and aims to uplift businesses that impact social justice.

Golden Coast Marketing is a digital marketing micro-agency that specializes in Facebook and Instagram ads, email marketing, and funnel strategy for socially conscious service providers such as coaches, course creators, copywriters, and people offering membership, etc. 

“I want to make sure that we’re working with the right type of clients. We aim to amplify brands that are trying to make the world a better place by giving back to their community, uplifting women, people of color, and any sort of marginalized community.”

The Challenge: Update Karen’s old, templated website copy to capture her awesome personality and socially conscious brand values

Karen wanted her website to reflect the vision of her company and who her ideal clients were. She wanted to move past the labels of ‘course creators’ or ‘service-based businesses’ and needed her website to speak clearly to her dream clients: socially conscious business owners who were as passionate about creating sustainable businesses as she was. Her current website was not doing that.

“I was getting on a lot of discovery calls with clients who were only interested in making more money. They had no interest in social justice or giving back to their community. Those are not the kinds of clients I wanted to work with.”

Karen knew that she needed to work on her messaging, but struggled to put her passion and work ethic into words.
